The purpose of the “Rule of Thirds” is for the subject-of-the-photo’s actions to be placed either on the left, right, or center of the image, leaving two-thirds more of surrounding space.
It was a pretty bright day, perfect for taking these kind of photos! After experimenting in different areas, I decided to go for my front lawn. Lowering my camera at just the right angle, I was able to photograph myself jumping in the air (this photo was also edited to get rid of the shine reflection).
