Narrative Perspective – Animation

In Animation we continued to develop our skills in Maya by giving motion to our 3D characters. Within this, we also worked with Zbrush, Adobe Substance Painter as well to create more 3D art for practice with painting and texture.

When doing these projects, what I truly valued the time and creativity it takes for people to create these characters and motions. For most of these projects, the process of doing a walk cycle or lip sync took multiple hours to create. And the creation of my 3D character took multiple weeks to finish. Doing animation takes an intense amount of time effort and dedication which I greatly appreciated and valued. And it was also an entirely new skill I had never tried before which made it a little challenging, but also really exciting to o:)
