For this photo of Oliver Markelz in first place, I took a photo of him in the middle of the back, and cut out all the people in front of him. I then duplicated him, and made him bigger (closer to the camera), and finally erased the first version of him. To make sure he stood out, and the focus point was fixed, I added a slight blur to everything but him, bringing the focus point closer to the camera.
