For my reflection image, I chose a photo I took during a race on a hot day. Because of the blistering temperature, the heat waves coming off of the track created an “inferior mirage,” which created the reflection of the runner as seen in the image. In this photo, I added a slight dutch tilt, to make the photo feel more gritty, and elevate the perceived difficulty of the run. This photo features Lucius Chen.
