This is a photo of Ivan Tse running the 1600 at a quad track meet. I used negative space, and did it over the shoulder of someone to emphasize his desperation, and build the distance between him and the next runners.
This is another photo of Ivan with even more negative space. In this image the negative space makes him feel small and alone during the race, when in reality he was nearby a lot of people.
