This week’s photo blog topic was sport stories where we were tasked to tell a story about sport through a photo. So I went ahead and took a photo of my medals that I had gotten when I competed in several Taekwondo competition.

This photo tells the story on how much work and effort that I put in order to achieve this level of success in Taekwondo competitions. I remember that I would sacrifice my weekends in order to go to practice and work on my techniques. However it was always so rewarding to see that hard work pay off and getting that first place medal. Now as a coach for my Taekwondo school’s competition team, I don’t get medal anymore but seeing the student that trained so hard to achieve that first place medal gives me the same feeling as winning.

I decided to focus on the middle of all of the medals because of two reasons. One because that medal was the biggest one of them all and two, that medal was the first medal that I have ever won and that medal is just special to me.
