Graphic Design

I knew I didn’t want to take design in Freestyle since I don’t want to make a career out of it, but I thought it would be fun to try out.

This is my first ever attempt at designing a poster! I kept seeing this type of look on Pinterest, so I wanted to make one myself. In the meanwhile, I used the opportunity to learn Adobe Illustrator. Thanks to my sister for taking that picture of me on the left climbing that radio tower.

The other two pictures are ones I took of my friends, Mia and Monty, who aren’t Freestyle students.

My attempt at a more analogue design. I kept seeing tutorials for this kind of filter, so I figured why not try it out? The quality is reduced here, but I think you can still see the pixels I used to texture it with in Photoshop.

I used a picture I took for one of my photoshoots, which you can find under my personal projects ‘photography’.

This is a magazine cover I made a while back. I removed a word from it, just because I’m not sure what I can and can’t put up on my website…

Anyway, it was mostly a test, since I was asked to photograph (and maybe design) some of the pages of a Los Altos High School magazine, and I wanted to learn some Adobe Illustrator before that.
