Tell a Lie

I knew I wanted to use a mirror for this one because the prompt reminded me of a house of mirrors, or one of those reflective mazes. I would always get lost in them as a kid– not even the mirror mazes, but corn and rock mazes, too.

Anyway, I found a rotting orange, so I took it. I had to stack some books to make it reach my mirror, so I figured I’d use a blue one to make the orange look nicer against it. The lie here is that as long as your back is turned to someone, they’ll never see how ugly your face is. I speak from experience, as a fellow Medusa myself.
