
Although this isn’t perfectly symmetrical, symmetry can be found in the smallest places.

This is a picture of a natural element in our world. It was taken at one of my favorite outdoor spots, the reservoir.

The rule of odds requires that there be an uneven amount of subjects in a photo, and the theory states that this can create a more visually appealing effect.

This picture of Colby shows emotion to me because of the way he is looking into the pink sunset that fills most of the frame. I get a nostalgic feeling from this photo.
A photo of my dog lounging in his favorite chair. He has beautiful brown/red curly hair, but you can’t really tell in this black and white photo.


Filling the frame can be a useful technique in photography to isolate a subject in your photo. I think that the black background of this photo is able to make this pink sign stand out well.
