The Elements

This is a picture of a natural element in our world. It was taken at one of my favorite outdoor spots, the reservoir.

Rule of Odds

The rule of odds requires that there be an uneven amount of subjects in a photo, and the theory states that this can create a more visually appealing effect.

Gratitude

I am grateful for my best friend Ilsa, who is a wonderful person has been with me through everything in my life.

Rule of Thirds Emotion

This picture of Colby shows emotion to me because of the way he is looking into the pink sunset that fills most of the frame. I get a nostalgic feeling from this photo.

Color without Color

A photo of my dog lounging in his favorite chair. He has beautiful brown/red curly hair, but you can’t really tell in this black and white photo.

Fill the Frame

Filling the frame can be a useful technique in photography to isolate a subject in your photo. I think that the black background of this photo is able to make this pink sign stand out well.

Future

What is inspiring to you about the future? Here is a photo of my dad grown up and doing something that he loves. I am excited to move on to the next chapter of my life and focus on something that I love!
