For my humor project, I decided to write and film a skit about a person who accidentally summons a demon in their sleep. I used various examples of slapstick, exaggerated, and absurd humor which I gleamed from my inspirations: anthpo and tArrow on youtube.

I wanted to include a lot of special effects, which is why I closely studied anthpo’s humorous editing style for inspiration. It’s also where I found this:

I also wanted to add a small amount of animation to the demon’s face. I enjoyed tArrow’s use of detail in animating his simple character model, because whenever he wanted to emphasize a certain emotion, the character’s face was suddenly enhanced, and I wanted to do something similar in the way I drew my demo character’s face.
