I recently bought a baguette at Safeway which I shared with all my friends during lunch time. For whatever reason I kept the bag, and was about to throw it away when I realized it’d be perfect as a prop for this photo. I want the viewer of this photo to become fully immersed in the experience of what it is like to be a piece of bread which I am about to eat. I hope that anyone looking at this will be able to sense the absolute dread and helplessness of their circumstances as I stare into their soul and reach towards them, so that I may be able to stuff them into my mouth.
