Mini Me!
It’s my family’s tradition to hang up and decorate a Christmas tree together, but it’s my personal tradition to take this little Christmas tree up to my room to put on my desk. I didn’t want to just take a picture of the Christmas tree because it’s too typical, but I also didn’t want to just photograph the little tree because its boring. So I found a way to take a picture of both of them in balance. If I have the little one up close on the left and the real one in the background on the right, the photo will be nice and balanced. Looking at the photo now, I think it would have been way better if I had a smaller f stop so I had both of them in focus. but the shallow depth of field does have a cozy festive feel, and we’ve taken the tree down already so I can’t take it again. Maybe next year.
