Best Way to Settle a Dispute
You might be thinking, “Landon, this is not a sport.” And while, yes, this is not a sport, I believe the moment I captured encapsulates everything that is sportsmanship. It had been the final round of the Hoco Parade musical chairs match, and these two guys landed on the chair at the same time. And when the announcers said that they would be playing a rock paper scissors match in order to settle the elimination, I knew I had to capture it. What I love about this photo is you can see the audience in the back all watching this little game of rock paper scissors. Capturing the excitement and human connection in what we find in sports.
