Your Culture
I see my culture as a blend of Asian and European influences. My dad is from England, while other members of my family are from the Philippines and China. This photograph represents how both cultures have shaped who I am. On the left side is tea from England, and on the right is a container of tea from China. In the center is a device that brings these two teas together, symbolizing my own mixed cultural identity. I like how the objects representing culture are warmer in color, contrasting with the cooler blue of the backsplash. However, I think the image would be stronger if the coffee machine were removed or replaced with one in a warmer color to better match the theme.
