Introduction

In our Narrative 2 unit, we asked ourselves the question,

How well can you apply advanced narrative techniques to build a compelling story?”

We explored various narrative perspectives and experimented with dialogue to develop more advanced storytelling techniques which we would later apply to screenplays, films, trailers, websites, etc. Along with this, we also experimented with photography to explore surrealism and dreamlike narratives. This helped us expand our technical communication skills by learning a variety of modern professional equipment and applications such as studio strobe photography, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Avid Pro Tools, Propellerhead Reason, Dragonframe, Autodesk Maya, HTML/CSS/jQuery, and Google Apps.
