Narrative Visual Perspective in Film

In Film, we completed a Senior Narrative Film spanning six months. To prepare, we did many exercises that made us practice skills such as lighting, audio recording, and framing. Ultimately, we learned through pre-production, production, and post-production. We pitched our ideas, wrote screenplays, participated in table reads, created a shot list, filmed, and finally edited.

This is my logline and synopsis from the original screenplay I wrote with my partner for the table read:

Acting

We had some difficulties when finding our actors due to having specific requirements and skills such as being 40+ age or able to sing, but we eventually found our amazing actors who throughout the shoots had great chemistry together.

Reflection

From the specific process and productions in Film, I valued carefully considering every shot, every action, and every frame, artistically that fits the tone and mood of our Film. It was incredible being able to see our vision come to life.
