This is a photo of me sitting in front of a bookshelf in my bedroom, hiding my face with a sketchbook. To the left of the bookshelf is a foldable easel. I don’t use it much, but it’s always there if I ever want to use it to paint. I chose to sit in front of a bookshelf because I love to read. On top of the bookshelf is a clutter of small items, and in the top right section of the bookshelf, there are two hats. I am not very organized, but I like being in a messy environment, because it gives me a sense of comfort. The sketchbook has a sketch of what I wanted the photo to look like. Usually, when I am about to paint something, I like to sketch a small version of it before putting my ideas onto canvas. That way, I can change something in the sketch how I like it, which is much easier than changing it on canvas.
