Welcome to my website! Hi my name is Lexi Davis and I am currently a senior in Design at Freestyle Academy. Outside of Freestyle I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, going to concerts and being in nature. I am in dance spectrum at my main school Mountain View High and have been for all 4 years. I also love animals and have been a foster parent multiple times throughout the years. After I graduate I will study psychology at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg Florida. Although I am not going into a design based field I hope to take photography and design classes. My dream would be to combine psychology and design in my future career. I know that art therapy is extremely helpful and I would feel extremely fulfilled doing that in my career.
For my showcase project I wanted to feature something I created at my time during freestyle that I am proud of. I chose to showcase my collage. In the beginning of the year in Design class we were to create a collage based upon our summer.

I produced my reel in After Effects and showed my favorite and best works from Design and Digital Media through my junior and senior year. The projects I completed in this video were created using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
During the past two years of my time at Freestyle I have learned and grown so much. Freestyle has given me the opportunity to explore art and creativity in a way that I would have never gotten to do at my main school. I challenged my way of thinking in English class, pushed myself out of my comfort zone in Design and learned industry standard applications in Digital Media to set me up for success in the real world. I am prepared for whatever comes next in my life because of Freestyle. I am forever grateful to the teachers and learning style for that.
