To capture aging in a photo, after much thought, I had the idea of putting two fruits together in comparison to represent the evolution process in an unconventional way. When we think of aging, we often thing of people, but the truth is that everything alive goes through this process. The mushy, brown banana on the right is is visibly much farther ahead in this process than the ripe, yellow banana on the left. I purposely put the aged banana within the arc of the ripe banana to represent the fact that as we age we often get smaller as well. Just another fun thing to look forward to. And while aging may be unavoidable, I sure hope this photo is timeless.
