For the stranger prompt I took a photo of someone hard at work in a lounging area, captured from a bird’s eye view for anonymity. As displayed by the photo they are in their own world of planning the landscaping design of a home and we get a sense of who they are in this moment. The setting juxtaposes both relaxation and focus, given the lounging chairs and spa water but also a laptop, important scrolls, and writing instruments. This gives us a glimpse into the person’s personality and what a day in their life looks like. While we are able to make certain conclusions from the photo there are some things that will remain a mystery to us, which is the beauty of looking at a photo from an outside perspective.
