This Gingerbread house represents one of the first gifts I ever received as a child, and also a fun family tradition during gift giving season. The gift was a plushy gingerbread man and it instantly takes me back to my earlier Christmases. Receiving gifts used to be my favorite part of Christmas but now I enjoy giving just as much as receiving, especially within my family, and the gingerbread man will always be one of my favorites.
