For the tell a lie prompt I captured a photo of what appears to be someone slam dunking a basketball into a 10 ft high hoop, when in reality an altered camera angle and bent hoop is what allowed me to achieve this effect. The hoop was lowered to about 5 feet in the air and I crouched underneath it when photographing the subject, causing the ball to appear as if it is falling towards the camera. The lie was further enhanced by focusing very closely on the subject’s hand and hoop so that the full surroundings can not be seen by to the average viewer. At least I know for next time how to make myself appear taller without buying high heels!
