For our Senior Narrative Unit, we were challenged with the question,

“How well can you apply advanced narrative techniques to build a compelling story?”

In Digital Media, using Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Pro Tools, we created a Surreal Composition Image, designed our multi-layered 3D art, and produced a 3D digital video and a time-lapse of our 3D multi-layered art production process.

Funny Image Compositions

We were assigned to create 2 funny image compositions using 4 images, and combining 2 for each image. I enjoyed this as I had lots of creative freedom to think of how to showcase my photos funnily.

Surreal Composition

For my Surreal Composition, I was inspired by my World-building project that was centered around the advancement of AI in our society. I took two images related to technology and composed them in a way that makes it look like technology is starting to take over as it surrounds our daily lives.

Multi-Layered Art Project

For this project, I was inspired by my world-building project “The Artificial Revolution” working along with MayaB, LexiI, and ArthurK. We developed a narrative-driven storyline around the advancement of generative AI. I had struggled to figure out a design I wanted to create this piece, but in the end, I’m happy with how it came out and hope to have an opportunity to make a similar wood piece in the future.
