Zenith
The “Zenith Project” in simple terms is a final project for out final year of freestyle, however the concept is a bit more complicated than that. As students, this project gives us the opportunity to explore a part of art that we are passionate and self driven in. We student choose what we would like to do as a final and create our own standards for the project. WE then have to self produce a product. It is a true passion project.
As the word “zenith” means the point when something is most powerful or successful, we felt that the word “antiseptic”, a word used to describe something as scrupulously clean or pure, or immaculate, was an incredibly accurate word for the three of us. As our three minds and passions culminate into this one, ultimate project, not only is this the point where we are most confident in our skills, it is where our work is immaculate, clean of blemishes. Antiseptic.
For my Zenith I decided to do a project with 2 film students. As friends, we have each persevered in art from a young age. Together we are similar in our aspirations to succeed in art and our desires to try everything. Individually we have different styles and mediums we specialize in – vibrant animations inspired from 90s-modern rap & rnb, conceptual abstractions & photography, and contemporary fashion & modern design. A culmination of our unique styles, “ANTISEPTIC” explores our maturation as artists. The journey we’ve each taken and the countless mediums we’ve explored are reflected in the upcoming pieces of art that we are creating. Rather than focus on specific techniques to get better at, we would like to explore what Freestyle has taught us about own own self expression and what art means to us personally. Utilizing that skills we have built over the past two years, we want to create an ambitious products that represents the versatility and message of ART.

| Concept Video | This mini brand will be used to make a mock promotional video featuring said clothing. The video will be multiple 1-2 minute shorts. | The video will be shot and edited by Katherine S and Brandon C. |
| Magazine | During the same time which we shoot the video, as well as time periods, we will take photos of the clothing. These photos will then be compiled into a graphic look-book magazine. It will likely be made using a combination of Photoshop and Indesign. We would then like to have these spreads printed out. | The photos and the graphic design will be done by ALL of us. |
| Accessories | IF there is extra time, we would like to make small accessories.
