Nice to meet you!

I came into freestyle with only basic knowledge of flash, photoshop, etc. but through the last few months I have learned how to effectively use applications like photoshop, illustrator, dreamweaver, garageband, and lightroom. I mess up a lot but I'm having a great time learning to work with the applications to create everything on this website (and the website itself). I enjoy digital arts and visual media so freestyle is a great place for me. We have learned how to translate ideas we come up with in English into design, making illustrations and doing photography then putting them up on websites in Web/Audio class. Freestyle is really cool because I didn't really fit in with the masses at my normal school, but I love everyone here and I'm so happy that I took the leap and tried freestyle out.

I came to freestyle because I want to persure a career in graphic design. I know I'm still pretty bad at it, but I'm really excited to learn and grow. I think freestyle is really going to help my resume and portfolio for college and I'm super happy to have the opportunity to have the chance to work on the field I plan to go into. I've always loved art and music so learning how to produce digital illustrations and original music is really exciting for me. Next year I plan to take AP Studio Art to help with my production skills, hopefully I can continue to grow and take my learning beyond freestyle.
