Things I've Learned So Far in My Life
Explain the Assignment in English and how we enhanced the assignment in Web Audio by creating a podcast. Explain how this relates to "Who am I?"
- Loyalty is the most important thing to me.
- Sometimes rules are simply made to limit you.
- You have to fight for the things you love.
- Trying to spare other people’s feelings is a lot of work.
- Being kind is not always the easiest choice.
- There’s more than one way to be strong.
- Beauty is cruel and twisted.
- Life has a tendency to slap you around. A lot.
- Sometimes you have to sacrifice yourself for other people’s mistakes.
- Being alone is scary.
I had a pretty good time making the podcast. Overall it was very informative process and honestly, not too difficult. We learned how to create a series of images using keyframes and how to play selected sections of audio to go along with those images by syncing audio in flash. To create the background music and podcast content for this project, we learned how to create and edit audio in garageband. We learned how to cut audio, change volumes to have things fade in or out, and use pre-recorded loops to create music.
English Media Piece
The media piece assignment was meant to be a photo or piece of media that connected to one of the 10 statements listed in our podcasts. We were to create something that represented one of the statements and went with our poem. After creating a media piece, we had to present our pieces to our class and explain the meaning behind them. This piece helps answer the question "Who am I?" because it has it's own story and a little piece of what we have learned and hpw we would display those lessons to the world. It gives insight into one's artistic talent and creativity.
