About Me

Hi! My name is Quinn, I aspire to be an animator. My core values in life are just being yourself and to not let people walk all over you. I lived most of my middle school/start of high school life letting people do what they wanted to me and not standing up for myself or just in general saying the word “no”. That word scared me because I was so afraid of social rejection, so I just never said no. Now that I learned how important the word no is, it has become one of my core values to not be afraid to do what you want to do rather than what others want you to do.

I love to draw and play video games outside of school, I’m not a very social/active type of person but I do enjoy being on call with my friends and gaming with them. I love hanging out with my sisters and my mom. I love making small animations with my tablet and apple pencil, although I’m not very good I look forward to getting better.

I expect to work hard and produce lots of animations and to learn more about them. I hope that I get better at technology in Digital Media and get better at expressing myself with my words in English. I really look forward to this upcoming year now that I am actually excited to go to school.

Reflection : It was beneficial to have such easy access to the technology I needed to advance in the arts, however it was extremely stressful. Especially at the end of Senior year having the Zenith, Showcase and Humor project all announced at the same time and all due at nearly the same time was not fun for mental health.
