Coming from an Indian background,it was drilled into me from the start that family was top priority, demonstrated to me cancelled playdate after playdate. Despite how pissed I get at them or how much they embarrass me, I love em and know I can lean on them whenever I need to.
I have two younger brothers, Devan and Kamen, both incessantly annoying and constantly bickering about the smallest of things, but us Three Musketeers have formed an unbreakable bond. Devan, or Fatty as I like to call him, was born in 1994, when I was two, and we've been squabblin from the start. My youngest brother Kamen was born in 1998, and we've always had the closest bond, being the little baby of the family, I always loved to pretend to be his other guardian.
My mother's always been a role model, and I admire her strength, and the confidence in which she enters every situation, and I'm constantly trying to replicate that in myself.
Though everyone says that my mom and I share an uncanny resemblance, I feel like I relate more closely to my dad. Ranging from our stubbornness, to our complete lethargy, our habits are basically identical.
