For this particular project, we used Adobe Illustrator to create an image which represents our best and worst trait at the same time. The aim of this picture is to basically convey my personal trait was looking too far ahead into the future.

Illustration ThumbnailAt this time of our lives, many of us have countless things to think about- colleges, juggling school work with our social lives, and worrying about the future in general. Personally, I spend too much time thinking about this. On one hand it is beneficial because when the time strikes, I will have a better sense of what I should do, but at the same time, stressing about the future doesn't benefit one immediately. I feel that this is one of my best traits due to the fact that it allows me to foresee and analyze my possible decisions in the future, yet when I worry too much about what's ahead of me I begin to stress irrationally about things that are usually years ahead of me. This habit of looking into the future is beneficial to me while remaining a stressful part of my psyche.

I chose to use predominantly bright colors to show how looking into the future is not necessarily a bad thing, and in fact, looking ahead can many times enlighten one at the position they may be in. The seemingly overbearing size of the clouds which are shrouding much of what's ahead represent how, even though there is a road which you must follow and inevitably reach the end of, you can't see the end of it. No matter how hard you try and look through the clouds, there is no certainty as to what lies ahead. This uncertainty seems to detract from the usefulness of stressing about the future, thus making it not always a good thing. The road sign is a bit more literal, next exit meaning what I am looking ahead at, and the large distance showing how far away it really is.
