When I first thought of the prompt “new beginnings”, an empty notebook or sketchbook was the first thing that came to mind. It’s always so much fun to have a notebook unfilled – because there’s so much potential as to what you could fill it with – to see what will become of it from beginning to end – which is why I chose for my photo to take a picture of a new notebook. (I have a huge collection of empty notebooks and sketchbooks, I really need to start filling them before buying new ones).
