Digital Media has been a unique class for me. Usually in school I had not spent a lot of time working independently and working with such high quality materials and software programs, like adobe after effects or illustrator. Some of the projects in this class have been really fun, and we got to express ourselves in artistic ways that look very visually pleasing.
One of the most notable projects we made in Digital Media this semester was the stacked art project. We started by sketching out a rough idea for our design, and then picked between either a ring art, a lightbox option, or what I picked, which was a 3d stacked wood art. The broad process for each of these was designing multiple layers, which when assembled correctly for their respective option, had lots of depth and looked very interesting. The options we had with this project led to a lot of creative works.
