This is a picture I took at my sisters dormitory at USC. There was an opossum perched on the outside of the window, which otherwise would have prompted a short glance, but the small warning now changes the environment. Why should I be warned of such a small critter? And then you notice the metal barring on the other side of the window. Perhaps this opossum is a violent prisoner of some kind? What has it done? If you stick around to find out you may become its next victim.
