Having lived in the United States my entire life, I never really considered or reflected upon what ties me to my cultural origins in Korea. I couldn’t really find anything that represented that, but I did happen upon this watercolor brush set from China, which I think is close enough. For this image, I really wanted to encapsulate that warmer feeling that you get when you think of home.
