I was inspired by the incorporation of blinds in many film noir shots, so I used that concept in my own photo. It’s supposed to be mysterious and foreboding to the viewer, so I utilized lighting to encapsulate these themes. Once I added the black and white filter, the finishing touches involved adding noise for an older feel and adjusting levels + contrast to really achieve that film noir look.
