For this prompt, we had to attempt to capture negative space in a photograph. I was able to accomplish this by taking a picture of a hole next to a set of pipes in Shoup Park. I enjoyed the simplicity of the picture and also the near perfect shape of the hole. It created a very interesting visual to look at and shape the picture around and was a more creative way to get across the idea of negative space especially with the limitations of the park around me. This photo helped me appreciate the more simplistic type of photography and how even the smallest of design elements can help quickly elevate an otherwise forgotten sight.
