Zenith was the penultimate assignment here at freestyle academy. Zenith was the project that everything we had worked on was leading up to. Similar to the explorations project we were tasked with creating a presentation on a skill that we were well informed with and knew how to do by the due date. I specifically did my zenith on Puppeteering, as my explorations was about Puppeteering I wanted to use what I had learned.
I really struggled throughout this project, I felt that I was having difficulty in doing almost everything. Working on my puppet, filming with the puppets, and then editing the puppets. It was a fun learning curve though, realizing what worked and what didn’t. I am now very well prepped for the next time I tackle such a hard project.
Reflection
For this project, I created a solo film using puppets, which was both a creative and challenging experience. One of my biggest struggles was managing my time effectively, especially since I had to handle every part of the production on my own. Working solo taught me a lot about independence and problem solving, but it also showed me the value of having support during complex projects. Overall, I am happy with my finished product and hope to be able to do somethign similar to it in the future..
