Get creative with the things around you and a good picture opportunity might present itself. This photo was taken on the northern side of Kau’i on a beach just outside of Hā’ena right around sunset. I found some sticks and a small piece of coral and thought it would be cool if I put them together and then took a photo of it. I really like how the closeup made them seem a lot bigger then they actually are as well as the lens flare and backlighting coming from the sun. This photo was also taken on my phone.
