In hispanic culture its common to find Ofrendas during Day of the Dead. This year, my mom decided to put one up, honoring family and friends who have long passed, including our old family dog. I believe this was a good example of culture for this prompt, as it’s a way I can share a part of my family and honor them even in passing. This lets us remember those we loved in life, and to even celebrate, welcoming them.
