My mother, Claudia Lee Duncan, was born on September 11th, 1958. She was born into a big family of six. She grew up in Texas, where her family still is. She moved to California where she meet my father, and had two kids. She is an engineer, or a rocket scientist. She has been working there for a long time. After she divorced my dad, she did not remarry. She hasn’t really even been dating. She is very independent and likes to be able to support herself, and her two daughters. She has been horse back riding for 20 years now. She use to ride at Spring Down Equestrian Center, doing jumps in a arena. Now she rides at a place called Cita, and does cross country riding. That can be very dangerous because if you hit the jump it won’t move. She has pushed me through school to do the very best that I can. She has helped me become the person who I am today.

 

My oldest sister, Jamie, is 20; she was born on August 25th, 1986. She use to go to the high school that I go to now, but she graduated and now goes to Santa Cruise. She and I grew up as close sisters. When she was younger we use to spend all the time together, going back from our dad’s house to our mom’s house, and just having lots of fun. When she started to grow up she wanted nothing to do with me, but that was okay. We got through it and now we are closer then we have ever been. Although she doesn’t live at home we talk all the time, we email, call and write letters to each other, helping each other with problems.
