My Family

My Family is a HUGE part of answering the question "who am I" because they have influenced my growth and development. They have introduced me to my favorite sports and activities, taken me to some of the coolest places I've ever been to, and they are cool.

These images and short descriptions of my family allows my viewers a glimpse into my life.

My parents and brother at his graduation!

My family is relativly normal. Besides our weird habbits of eating dinner at 8:45 we are a regular family of four. We all love eachother very much, and can always find time in our busy schedules to hangout and spend time together. My brother, my mom and I all play volleyball so every once and a while we will go out and play as a family. My dad can hold his own by now.

My brother is kinda cool I guess. Thinking about my family, my brother has had a rather large influence on my life. He has introduced me to a lot of the things I love to do. He was the reason I started playing volleyball, the reason I am in marching band, and most importantly, the reason I am at Freestyle. While we have our differences, I like to think that we are also very similar. We can find time to hangout and play video games, or gossip over a marching band show. Even though I know how to push all of his buttons, I am glad we are able to spend time together, and it is weird with him out of the house now that he is in college.

My dad with my mom because he never takes pictures alone so i couldnt find one of only him.

I can easily say that my Dad has had the biggest impact on my life out of everyone I’ve met. Whether it was riding a bike, falling on a skateboard, or learning to drive stick shift, my Dad was always there. I’m extremely grateful of everything that he has provided me with and all the love he has shown towards me. Even though he puts up with “punk” friends as he nicknamed them, and my 3am cooking shenanigans, I couldn’t ask for much more.

My mom is pretty amazing. Not only did she raise me, but she introduced me to many things that I am interested in today. My mom was the reason I played volleyball. She was my first coach, and even though she doesn't directly coach me anymore, always finds a way to give me input from the sideline. She played volleyball at UC Davis for 3 years until she tore her ACL her junior year. She loves to visit me while I'm doing homework too. She averages from 3-6 appearences a night. Even though she can bug me like any parent, I still love her a lot.
