Narrative 2

The Narrative Project asks Senior students,

“How well can you tell a dialogue-driven story?”

By using different points of view and experimenting with visual and auditory media in my story writing, I learned throughout these various projects to create a compelling narrative. In each of my classes (English, Digital Media, and my elective, Design) I was able to learn and grasp an understanding of multiple skills which I then used to create the following narratives. For example, I gained an understanding of programs such as InDesign to create a mock magazine ad for my mock product, learned how to use different poetic writing in my English writing to create an interesting essay, and finally learned how to use Illustrator and After Effects to create and assemble my own wood art sculpture, along with a video showcasing the design process. Throughout all of these projects, I have become accustomed to using and showcasing my understanding of various Adobe programs, my storytelling capabilities, and my intuition for visual design.
