I chose this as my self portrait because it incorporates color, art, and emotion which are all big factors in my life. The clean organization is a vivid reminder that I like my life to be in order, and many times I do so with color. Whether that be the pens I use in class, or color of my fingernails. The woman shedding a tear is not meant to be me, but a reminder to myself that it is okay to be vulnerable whilst being strong!
