Reflection
My 3D production was heavily inspired by a world building project we completed as a group in English class. One of the central themes of our concept was “church and angel”, and I found the imagery of angel wings particularly compelling. I used the wings as a core visual element in my 3D design, layering them to create a sense of depth, volume and height. This multi-layered approach translated beautifully into 3D , and I was really pleased with how the final pieces turned out. I especially enjoyed using After Effects to bring the layers to life with tools like the z axis, virtual cameras, and lighting effects, which added realism and dynamic movement to the project. Using Illustrator made the media creation process feel smooth and efficient. It gave me a strong foundation for building detailed assets, which I could then bring to life in After Effects. Through these projects, I also learned new techniques that expanded my creative toolkits. The combination of these two programs makes me feel unstoppable in producing a wide range of media, from static visuals to fully animated 3D compositions.
