Introduction
Welcome to my page! My name is Emma Tan and I am a first senior student in Freestyle Academy. At Freestyle, I’ve taken classes in Digital Media, Design and English. Throughout my time in this program, I have inspired lots of my classmates by their work in class. Prior to taking classes here, I was never really exposed to the Art world. I have been luck to learn from my teachers and classmates to experience with new challenge myself to step outside of my comfort zone. My favorite part about Freestyle is community, people are passionate about the same things and freestyle is the best places to share their art, creativity, ideas and imagination to find common sense of humor. Freestyle gives students a space to expand our creativity skills and letting us to explore the Art world.

Reflection
For my showcase, I chose to present my Zenith project. While I’m not 100% satisfied with the final result, the experience taught me a lot and helped boost my creative skills overall. I genuinely enjoyed the process, even when things didn’t go as planned. I’m very grateful to my teachers for giving us this amazing opportunity—through the Zenith project, students were able to express their passions and share their work with the community. I believe it was a great chance to connect with my classmates, be inspired by their work, and learn more about film and animation through their presentations.Thanks to Freestyle, I’ve grown not only as an artist but also as a person. I spent a lot of time getting to know myself better through the work I created—because every piece of art reflects who you are. That self-reflection has been meaningful to me throughout the year. I’m truly happy to be part of the Freestyle community. My experience here has been incredibly valuable and unforgettable. It’s one of the biggest steps I’ve taken in my life.
