Frame within the frame
For a frame within the frame, I chose to use leading lines. Leading lines frame the center of an object without needing an actual frame for it. I went in my backyard and tried to look for frames with natural elements.

For using props, I decided to make a standoff scene between my candle lighter and my Mario kart Luigi. It was very intense. I also used ashallow depth of field to give it more of an ominous, standoff-ish scene.
For depth of field, I chose to put on abject in front of a bunch of other objects and turned the f-stop all the way down to create a shallow depth of field.
For viewpoint, I was inspired by these two dresses I have hanging on my shutters. I always look at it at eye level but was wondering what it would look like to my dog. So I got on the ground and took a picture from where my dog would stand.
For low angles I decided to take a picture of paintings and photos in the hallway of my house. For this, I sat on the ground of my room and took this picture from the low angles of the floor.
I took this picture of my friend Natalie at the SF MOMA and her face is in the right third looking down. I thought this showed interesting emotion from Natalie as her expression contrasts that of the picture behind her.
For fill the frame, I decided to do a this picture. I chose it because the flowers take up a large portion of the frame and it has a lot of color filling up the frame as well.
For “Geometry”, I decided to take a photo of geometry in nature. Succulents have a very geometrical look to them and are usually very symmetrical. I thought this was the perfect example of geometry in because of all the natural shapes in nature.
I chose to take a picture of a sundial for leading lines because all the surrounding plants are sort of “pointing” to the sundial. All the stems and lines are going over and around it making the sundial the center of attention. I really like this picture because it’s intruiging.
I took this photo right after my chickens laid these eggs because I thought it was perfect for the rule of odds with the 5 of them. The fifth one gives it more depth and to me, photos look better asymmetrical in these cases.
