Shadow

I took this photo at Russian Ridge Nature Preserve at 3pm with the telephoto lens. I thought this was good to use for shadow because the bird is faced away from the sun and most of it’s body is heavily shaded. This gives the bird a mysterious feel and it reminds me of a statue. I think the use of shadows definitely gives this impression and I think it’s pretty cool.
