f 2.5, ISO 150, 1/120 Something that I never knew the importance of til I became about the age of 12 is a vanity mirror, this type of mirror is very modern, lot only does it serve the purpose of being a mirror, but also illuminating the face making it easier to do makeup, and lighting up the room. I took this photo by setting up a tripod behind me.

    current events

f 1.6, ISO 100, 1/120 Jellycats have gained immense popularity recently, so I decided to find some very rare ones out in the wild and photograph one of the internet’s most viral stuffed animals.

creative staged + depth of field

f 1.6, ISO 200, 1/100 In this picture I used the example on the spreadsheet, and decided I wanted to capture a photo of two friends two different sizes in the air, to make it seem like they were actually one very large and one very small human. This ended up not working out because syncing the two swings was harder than we thought, and also with the proximity of the playground I couldn’t find an angle far enough to capture both subjects in the air. So instead I got this photo where my friend Yannick’s legs and body look much bigger than Jensen, making him appear more giant.

    deadly sins

f 2.4, ISO 120, 1/200 Envy. As a Highschool teenage girl envy nearly presents itself everywhere, from comparing your style, body, athleticism, academics, household, family, and social media to others it can often feel very exhausting. From a young age I never saw myself as loveable and it was really hard for my jealousy to come out as appreciation for others. Although, In this assignment I didn’t wanna capture the things I envy about someone else, instead I wanted to show my appreciation and envy for the beautiful ocean. Despite if the water is high or low or if the sky above is cloudy or clear the ocean still exsists…

    music

f 1.6, ISO 100, 1/250 I took this photo whilst at a concert of one of my favorite artists, TV girl , obviously this photo has something to do with music but I wanted to capture a moment with my camera where the artist feels full of pleasure and excitement because this is definitely an example of what music brings me and lots of other people.

    viewpoint

1/100 f4.5 ISO50 In this picture, In order to highlight the fine line details on the pants I had to change my viewpoint this technique made it easier for me to adjust the position of the subjects to make them the primary focus of the photo while also zooming in and moving my camera.

    film noir

1/200 f4.5 ISO160 This photo of my friend Yannick was originally taken around sunset, and the gray scale effect I added helped bring out the lighter back ground, and brought out the detailing in the outfit.

    Small vs Large

1/150 f4.5 ISO160 This image was taken with my camera while I was on a stroll through Stanford and I saw a house nestled in between the trees. The surrounding trees were so large it was hard to spot the house at first glance. Throughout my entire time living close to Stanford I never noticed the quaint house,

    color theory

1/150 f6.0 ISO200 . I uploaded this original image into Photoshop and used color grading to make the mundane colors appear more luminous and bright, I thought this photo was exceptionally interesting because of the natural star that is in one of the tomatoes, using color grading the natural shape was easy to find.

    long shutter speed exposure

1/10 f4.5 ISO160 This photo was taken by setting up my camera on a tripod and doing a series of poses with my gorgeous friend Whitney to capture our movement and the cute outfits we had on. By using a long shutter exposure the movements were carried out as there was more time elapsed to when the picture was actually taken.
