1/150 f4.5 ISO160 This image was taken with my camera while I was on a stroll through Stanford and I saw a house nestled in between the trees. The surrounding trees were so large it was hard to spot the house at first glance. Throughout my entire time living close to Stanford I never noticed the quaint house,

1.6, ISO 120, 1/300 Something that largely inspires me is the cats that live in my area who always come out when I least expect them, they inspire me to go outside and give me company on my long walks. Although most of them aren’t stray they still feel like cats that live primarily outside and remind me of when I was a kid and spent all of my time outside playing, no matter the weather conditions. So when I feel tired, scared, or sad I will still be motivated to go exercise and see the cats.

1/470, f/2.4, ISO 25 There are many cool ways to capture reflections, although water is by far the easiest and most visually appealing in my opinion. One way I captured this reflection was by focusing on the rich saturated color of green that is near the trees which are closest to the surface. It almost makes the water glow, this picture was taken at Foothills Park in Los Altos Hills.

f/4.5, 160, 1/125 When in San Francisco I saw this nice path of palm trees leading down towards a long downwards road, it could signify an exit.

f/6, 200, 1/200 One of my friends and I hiked up to Rancho San Antonio, but the entrance by Mora Dr. But, when we got to the water tower/viewpoint I saw a little path we could take and it led us to this open plateau above a steep drop and lots of trees.

f/3.5, 1/2,000, 160 This photo was taken in New Zealand the day after Argentina won the World Cup. I went there to visit my friend who is Argentinian so her whole family was ecstatic. We sailed into a white sand beach and the water was more blue than the sky it was beautiful.

f/3.5, 1/125, 120 While I was taking photos of the sunset photo blog I thought I could play around with white balance to give this photo more of a grainy and dark look. This was also so I could see the details of the waves as the light wasn’t reflected as much. I used the Fluorescent setting and it turned out cool.
