I was so excited for this weeks photo blog because I love color theory. I first learned about color theory in an art class in elementary school, and I still remember everything I learned. Colors have such an impact on mood and expression and it’s such a simple way of conveying messages. This picture is of a sunset in Santa Cruz, but it’s reflecting off a small puddle on the rocks. I edited it to bring out the purples and blues in the rocks and waves. The showstopper of this picture however, is the cloud in the bottom right corner, which shines orange because of the sunset.
