Narrative 2

The Narrative unit was a very long but fun unit for all 3 classes. We learned how to create fictional story’s through different forms of media including writing, physical objects, and a grand film.

English

For English we learned how to build our own fictional world. This unit called the world building unit explains itself. We were to create narrative story in a whole new world that we had to create and depict. Through this project I grew a lot in my writing style. Creating a world for your story’s is one of the most important skills. For the final project for this unit we were to pitch our world to the class as if they are our investors.

Here is Kosta and I’s Presentation.

Digital Media

For digital media, we were told to make a real life multilayer art project inspired from our story’s in English. We got to choose to make a light box multi layer piece or a wooden multilayer piece. We made it by making multiple lays of art on top of each other to make a 3d piece. We started by sketching our layers (not pictured), then making these layers in adobe illustrator.

Film

This year in film was all focused around our big senior narrative. Most of the projects for film were to get us one step closer to making the best senior narrative we could.

1 period film

For this project we were given no direction and told to make a film using all of class time. That involved pre-production, Production, and post production.

Dialogue scene

This project was intended for us to practice our dialogue filming skills for our senior narrative. We were given a script and were told to go film it however we wanted too.

Lighting Scavenger hunt

For the lighting scavenger hunt we were learning how to get certain looks/vibes for our narrative film.

Multi cam edit/ Acting unit

For this we had to get into groups and find a scene in a move to act out, We have different people ion class film us, get audio, and direct us to film our scene like were were to film on our actual set. We then had to take that video and audio and make a edit out of it.

The SENIOR NARRaTIVE

There was a lot of preparation for this unit to get our final product “License to Love”. Enjoy all my prep work,

Above is my first Senior narrative pitch.

Above is our first rough outline to License to love.

Above is our final screen play for License to love.

There were many other revisions and documents that when into the final product but I have lost them,

Here is our final product.
